Great price

A straightforward mortgage with a reasonable rate

Good product, but screwed up during our move

We really like Nationwide and we've been with them for years and have happily recommended them in the past. However our recent move was made incredibly stressful when they suffered an IT fault on out move day, and were unable to complete our transaction. We were forced into a hotel at short notice. They did resolve the problem and promised compensation, however their initial offer was desperately inadequate and they were difficult to deal with. The matter has now been resolved, but it has left a sour taste to a previously excellent relationship. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2018

Local service

You can ring straight to the branch to book appointments and speak to someone in your local branch. This enables you to build a relationship with your local branch which you just don't get from other banks. Rates are great too which is always good! Reviewed on: 9th January 2018

New Mortgage

The staff were so helpful and gave us all the options available to us for our mortgage. We chose the best one and are very happy with the service from the Nationwide Reviewed on: 25th December 2017

Never any problems

Easy to deal with, easy to manage online and never any problems dealing with Nationwide. Friendly and helpful staff in branches and useful secure communications online mean I'd not hesitate to recommend this. Reviewed on: 12th December 2017
