Extremely helpful, prompt and willing.

Newbury helped us with a self build mortgage when most others did not. They have been brilliant throughout, reasonable with their fees, helpful and prompt when we need to draw down our stage funds. We highly recommend them. Reviewed on: 3rd January 2023

Lump sum payment to mortgage

Due to inheritance we were able to make a lump sum payment to our mortgage. The advice we received from Clare Taylor was thorough and very informative. Paperwork etc was sorted out very quickly, considering it was the Christmas season and we were able to make the payment promptly. I have had mortgages with the Newbury Building Society since 1992 and have always found them to be extremely professional, friendly, and always happy to help. Reviewed on: 3rd January 2023

Efficient and professional service

Our mortgage redemption marked the end of our relationship with NBS, for now. Throughout that time, we have experienced the most polite and professional service possible from Newbury BS. Very fair charges when they exist at all, and all transactions completely hassle free. Excellent customer service

We recently switched mortgage products with Newbury after a 5 year initial term. The staff at Newbury are very professional, extremely responsive, and very clear in their explanation of the options available. The transaction was completed in a few days and required one phone call and follow up emails and secure messages. This was largely due to the efficiency and clarity of the Newbury staff. Good service slight delay in processing

Very easy application
