Very easy application

New mortgage on a "new-to-us" house

We had never heard of the Newbury BS until our broker suggested it to us. We must say that everything went very smoothly especially when you consider that one prospective house purchase fell through after the mortgage had been arranged. We received an excellent deal with just the features we wanted and everything looks great to us although we have yet to make our first mortgage payment. Reviewed on: 6th December 2022

Professional yet approachable

We recently took out another mortgage with Newbury. We wanted to stay with them because during the pandemic Newbury have been so supportive. The lady was so helpful when remortgaging and we felt that we were receiving the best possible product. Reviewed on: 5th December 2022

Transfer of existing mortgage

Really pleased that the NBS reached out to me prior to my fixed mortgage maturity and offered me a transfer which has now saved me money for the upcoming years with raising interest rates. Great service. Reviewed on: 3rd December 2022

Helpful as usual

Thanks for your help in obtaining a new product .Please keep your staff numbers adequate to answer phone calls within a short time ,now taking longer! One grouse is the ridiculous secure message system- I have only managed to open one of the last nine secure messages so they are certainly secure! I am sure no one else wants to pay my mortgage,so please either send me a normal email or a hard copy in the post. Reviewed on: 2nd December 2022

Easy to deal with and great customer service !!

We have received great customer service throughout our transaction to buy our new home. Considering we had gone through 3 mortgage applications with them as the vendors of the properties we were trying to buy pulled out twice !! Each application was delt with swiftly and professionally !!!! The best thing was if you had a query you could speak directly to a REAL person who was able to help and called back when they said !!!!
