A bank where you communicate with people.

I've always found the staff to be very helpful, but more importantly you communicate with people rather than bots or automated systems. There are no frustrations of dealing with machines who don't understand your problem and give unhelpful nonesense responses or simply terminate the 'conversation'. Reviewed on: 28th April 2025

I recently visited the Didcot branch to put a cheque into my daughters savings account, I was served by Thomas. I was impressed by the service I received from him and all who work in branch. Very attentive and bubbly bunch. Lovely office and bonus - open 5 days a week! Reviewed on: 19th January 2026

Online application process

Opened a savings account online and it was super smooth and straightforward. Easy to navigate through my existing accounts and withdraw to my nominated account as I please Reviewed on: 19th January 2026

Always a pleasure, the staff are so polite and helpful no matter which branch I transact in. I see them offer a great, knowledgeable service and seen some fantastic rapports built with their customers while in branch but wonder why they don't direct many of our customers to leave a review?
