I wanted to open an account on an ISA of £20000 to save paying income tax on my savings, Haze Parker talked me through the process of an ISA account, she was very helpful and professional, I will open another for 2025/2026 tax year to save more. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2025

Tasha at Basingstoke branch.

Tasha at Basingstoke branch was extremely helpful when setting up a savings account for my elderly father. Going above and beyond to assist when we got into some difficulties with the online registration. Reviewed on: 31st December 2024

Great service at Alton Newbury Building Society

Lewis at Alton Newbury Building Society was extremely helpful when setting up savings accounts in order to pay in a cheque. We were able to get an appointment the same day, and once there felt welcomed. He took plenty of time to explain our options and we left feeling reassured. Reviewed on: 31st December 2024

Friendly customer service

Chloe was very friendly and advised us of the best savings account for our 3 month old. It took all of about 20 minutes to open an account and it was so easy! Chloe was very welcoming and friendly showing a big interest in our little one which was lovely! We also like that there’s various branches around our area which means it’s easy to pay money into the account. Reviewed on: 20th December 2024

Savings advice

As power of attorney for my mum I requested a meeting regarding her finances. The online booking system was easy to use and a reminder was sent the day before. The staff were very knowledgeable and the advice I received was easy to understand. The changes Made were completed within two working days. Great service, thank you. Reviewed on: 16th December 2024

Above and beyond

The team were extremely patient recently with an ISA transfer I had to make to another bank. The process was held up and took a month in total, not because of any fault on the part of NBS, but they still took it upon themselves to ensure the funds got across. Reviewed on: 13th December 2024
