Review of the Newbury Building Society, Savings:

Opening an ISA account in lockdown

This is in two parts. 1. The actual process was difficult because of lockdown and the unscheduled closure of the Abingdon branch when i was able to visit the branch. So everything had to be done by post (also not so good under lockdown) and finally neatly sorted by scanning a document and sending it by email. All done now. 2. All the staff I dealt with were very helpful and patient with a grumpy (I suspect!) old man . Eventually I got my account opened and it is now in action. Thank you to all who I had spoke to.
