Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

A friendly, helpful team at The Newbury

Very easy to open the account

Very welcoming warm building. Our advisor Hazel was welcoming and explained everything to us and made sure we understood. We are the older generation and found her help invaluable. So good to be able to actually speak to someone nowdays Reviewed on: 23rd March 2023

great customer service and very community focussed

Newbury are truly focussed on making my experience as customer easy and pleasant, their staff are really helpful. I get good interest rates on my savings yet Newbury supports lots of local causes. Truly local but accessible on line Reviewed on: 22nd March 2023

Excellent customer service

Appointment made to open two accounts with Newbury Building Society. Account opening took place in branch. Member of staff was courteous, thorough and friendly. Letter confirming opening of account/passbook arrived very quickly. Refreshing to deal with an organisation delivering good customer service in an uncomplicated format. Thank you. Finding a New Home

My husband and I have now come to an age when we need to take our savings out of shares. The only reason we can’t cope with the changes. We where recommended your building society plus contact not far from where we live. On making my original phone call I was connected to Samatha James who gave me help and information regarding The Senior Account I was interested in also we where given information on another account which was going to be beneficial to each of us..We now feel settled having found a building society for us.
