Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Very helpful

All the staff were very helpful,courteous and professional.Samantha took her time to explain and help me choose the best option for my savings.There was a definite feeling that everyone was happy in their work and a real friendly atmosphere in the building, which was clean ,neat and tidy,credit to all. Very good customer experience

I have saved with the society for 60 years, also having mortgages over that time. The savings rates are competitive, with helpful staff and a useful online system, which enables me to use the society, even though I now live many miles from Newbury. Truly a good mutual society, still relevant in the modern world of finance. Reviewed on: 21st February 2023
