Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Professional and friendly staff. Fair interest rates -they do not penalise customers who do not do online banking, accounts that reward existing customers - attract new ones. A passbook!. Reviewed on: 29th August 2025
