Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Excellent friendly customer service

New account

Excellent service received from the Andover branch of Newbury Building Society, initially spoke to someone on the phone who assisted with my queries and then visited the branch next day to open my account. Very friendly staff in the branch and a very quick and easy process to setup the account. My bank book has been received in the post and the online setup for the account was also very easy, better interest rate as well than the normal banks! Reviewed on: 10th April 2021

Good products, but slightly clunky website

The building society has a good range of products and are easy to deal with. Just slightly let down by a rather clunky website, but as a smaller provider it’s not surprising it’s more basic Reviewed on: 9th April 2021

Excellent customer service

Im a new customer to the newbury. First impressions? Surprise ,a person at the branch im with answered the phone, something i dont recall ever happening anywhere else.l also received comprehensive details of the account i was about to open and a follow up call. Efficient friendly service

Popped into the branch to open a new member savings account. Staff were incredibly friendly and informative. Whole thing was done and dusted within 15 minutes, and my expectations over next steps very clearly managed, and followed through on and promised. Prompt and efficient service. Good cash ISA product

New potential customer. Telephoned Andover branch for advice re i.d etc. Immediate answer and information given clear and concise by Matt. Visited Andover branch later that morning all sorted with great efficiency by Tracie, Have already recommended my daughter to ring or pay you a visit re ISA's. Good, local, old fashioned service with a smile. Face to face essential in my view and good Covid discipline in place. Good products from a trusted long established source.
