Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

Excellent service and competitive interest rates...

Really knowledgeable staff who were helpful and friendly. Speedy service, the new account was up and running within a couple of days. Good interest rates too compared to other financial institutions with similar accounts. I would recommend Newbury Building Society, do not dismiss them because they are fairly small! Excellent professional, friendly and efficient service with a smile

We went in to top up and EMA by didn't realise the annual limit. We talked it through and split our deposits into the max on the EMA and opened up a senior saver account. Simple, straightforward and very helpful team in the office - well done Reviewed on: 30th October 2020

Overall very positive experience

The process was quick and easy. The team at the Winchester branch that processed my request were incredibly friendly and helpful and gave me a great first impression of the company. In an ideal world, I would have liked to have been able to open an account online, especially due to Covid. Reviewed on: 30th October 2020

Excellent support

Locked myself out of the account. They managed to get me up and running very quickly and sent link so I could change the security question which was constantly causing me issues. Happy to stay with Newbury. Reviewed on: 23rd October 2020

Very helpful and friendly staff.

All the staff where very polite and professional, and the building was marked out for social distancing in these trying times, Alice who saw to me opening an account was very helpful and professional, any questions I asked about savings, withdrawing money, or depositing money in my account, she was able to answer me with helpful advise that I could understand easily. New Welcome account

Excellent service

Although excellent service we would have preferred to conduct our business in a private office instead of the reception area. Maybe this was because of the coronavirus and is temporary, and if so we completely understand. Reviewed on: 18th October 2020
