The pay in 3 option that they give has provided me with multiple options to purchase items I've needed for my home with the ability to spread the cost at an interest free rate Reviewed on: 13th June 2024

An unusually long interest free period

A four month interest free period is almost unprecedented, except for six or 12 months interest free periods on specific items with larger retailers. The fantastic thing about PayPal however is that you are able to split your payments in which ever way works for you, as long as the minimum payment is made monthly. It is also available pretty much anywhere, as long as the cost of the item is at least £100. I have made good use of this Credit line dozens of times, and have found it incredibly easy to use and much more affordable and flexible than a credit card. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

Pay pal - Has had my money held to ransom on all orders placed for 120 days before they release any funds- We have been with Pay pal for several Years - and they have for the last 10 years plus increased the hold from 7 days to be paid know over 120 Day and still not paid - however they take there fees at time of sale and do not release ours - Financially crippling our Business- Then every month they put our account on Hold and request Tracking details and courier for orders- even when then information is already added to pay pal showing the item delivered - They then what you to provide invoices showing you purchased the goods- ID Bank Statements every month - No Issues with orders - however Pay pal seem to like -playing games with Peoples lively hood - Potential putting us out of business due to all our sales revenue being held You then call The so called customer services and even they cant tell you why the reserve is in place - only if you don't like it close your account - I will be doing this once or funds are released from hold Cant speak to the department that even puts the Hold on your account and cant get a reply to an email or even any support - considering we are paying for this service to use PayPal - If i was a Buyer they would be jumping through hoops trying to sort out there issue - quickly and efficiently - putting them through to correct departments top get that resolved Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

I have used PayPal pay in 3 for aome time and i was happy intil 2 months ago. When I ordered items from Debenhams I was informed that they will be 2 parcels delivered separately. I got 1 parcel and I did not get the other. I contacted the seller and they said they will send me the replacement and it never happened. I contacted PayPal disputes and the result was that I got that item and the case was closed and in favour to the seller. I contacted PayPal again to say I was not happy about this as I did not receive this parcel and asked them to ask the seller for the proof of delivery of which non was provided. Now I have to pay for a dress that I did not receive and my hard earned money gone just like that. I am so disgusted about this. Maud Reviewed on: 29th October 2025
