I use and recommend PayPal all the time

I’ve had a few ups and downs with PayPal over the 20+ years but this was because others sellers, but never enough to put me off or lose faith in the company. Their finance options are a great perk, though the longer 0% APR deals they definitely vary depending on the seller. I used to use PayPal for business card payments, but these days I just stick to a personal account as I no longer have a business due to ill health, and I trust the company.
