First installment is charged immediately

I was disappointed to learn that PayPal's "Pay in 3" requires the first installment to be paid upfront at checkout. I expected it to work like other BNPL services where the entire payment can be delayed by a few days. While it's useful for splitting larger amounts, it doesn't help if you don't have the funds available on the day of purchase.⁠ Reviewed on: 26th May 2026

Easy easy.love the pay in three option. Now one can track packages. Keep tabs on how much is owed eg holiydays etc. Reviewed on: 26th May 2026

Interest Free Loan

Having the option of making payments for a purchase spread so that the initial payment is followed by a similar payment a month later, with the final similar payment a further month later, is the welcome equivalent of enjoying an interest free loan for two months. Reviewed on: 26th May 2026
