I use pay in 3 for large purchases and it is a convenient way to split my bill. The money comes out of my account the same time every month and there is an option to pay the outstanding amount a bit earlier. When I receive a refund on payments I have made using pay in 3 the money goes back to my PayPal account. So one would need to transfer the money back into their original account. I have always been able to rely on pay in 3 when ordering high value items to reduce the potential of a large amount of money leaving my account, returning a product and then waiting for that to be refunded. The increments help. Reviewed on: 5th June 2024
