Disgraceful lack of support for nondelivery claim

I used PayPal to purchase high-value clothing (approx. £400), but the delivery never reached me. The courier claimed it was left outside, yet it was not there when I went to retrieve it. I opened a dispute expecting the Buyer Protection to cover a clear case of non-receipt, but they closed the case in the seller's favor. I am now stuck paying for four coats I never received. Beware using this service for expensive items; they do not actually protect the consumer if the courier claims delivery was made. Otherwise loved pay in three option but I didnt even want all the costs I looking for one ended up with none but paid for four! Reviewed on: 26th April 2026

Convenient but needs clearer communication

I’ve been using PayPal Pay in 3 and overall it’s a convenient way to spread the cost of purchases without paying interest. The setup process is quick and easy, and payments are taken automatically, which helps avoid missing deadlines. However, the experience could be improved with clearer communication around eligibility and declined transactions, as it’s not always obvious why a payment plan isn’t approved. It would also be helpful to have better visibility and reminders within the app before payments are due.
