Friendly and efficient insurance company

They deal with queries over the phone sympathetically and efficiently. Claims are dealt with speedily with minimum of of fuss. They've insured 4 dogs for us over the years and there have never been any problems Reviewed on: 27th August 2019

When we first got Teddy we looked several different pet plans but felt that Petplan offered the best value as what you see is what you get. There are no hidden charges as we found with alot of other plans ie when you looked at the small print with the cheaper ones there was anything between 10 and 15% of the bill to pay well as the excess. I would recommend petplan. Petplan will also continue to insure your dog should they develop a life long condition provided you continue to insure with them. Reviewed on: 27th August 2019

Great tips

I find being with pet plan is great and recommend using them to my friends and family who own pets. They send out great newsletters that include helpful and relevant tips for being a responsible dog owner. The most recent one I received was for helping a dog deal with hot weather. I have been using PetPlan for the past five years and whilst there have not been the need for enormous claims being the owner of a pug there have been a few and some unexpected like the time he snorted a grass seed up his non-existent snout! and required surgery PetPlan were reassuring, supportive and definitely made a stressful time easier to manage. When our cat was seriously ill a number of years ago and needed several medications, we were grateful to know that our Petplan insurance would cover his veterinary care. Petplan were sympathetic, helpful and enabled us to settle his bills with no problems at a distressing time.
