I have Petplan for 2 pets now and have always found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. When I was first looking into insurance for our pup, I asked people for their personal recommendations, in particular a close friend who had had to claim when their dog was injured in an accident. He told me that the claim was straightforward with no delays or quibbles over payments. As I have previously worked in insurance myself, I know that the best way to find out how good a company really is, is to make a claim. Reviewed on: 17th August 2019

I’ve been with Petplan for decades.I don’t shop around-they are simply the best.When you are super stressed because your beloved dog is ill there’s no fussing-they simply sort things out for you with the vet.When my last dog was very old there was no hesitation in paying for acupuncture to help him.And of course those little touches which show they care like a letter/email of condolence when they sadly leave.This year I even got a beautiful bouquet on my 60 th birthday!Im in several dog sites on Facebook and recommend them daily-truly excellent service Reviewed on: 16th August 2019

Customer service was really good when cancelling plan for my pet who died they were very nice to me and was caring towards me and done it, not got all stars as still waiting for the operation claim To get done. Reviewed on: 16th August 2019

Petplan was recommended by friends and family and also my vets. It’s reputable and Whilst I have never had to claim (good news for Loki hehe), the whole process of setting up a policy for him was super easy, I had all the info to hand I could need to make my decision and the site navigated really nicely!
