I would recommend Petplan insurance to anyone with animals. My dog has been really badly a couple of times and one was touch and go with her ,the amount of claim was thousands and Petplan paid out for her with no hesitation would highly recommend get your animal insured with them. The Worst Possible Insurance Servie - Rubbish!!!

A simple castration for a dog and exploratory blood tests leading up to the scan. PetPlan were evasive, the staff are awful, no product knowledge, stupid and rude. The insurer will do anything to get out of paying a claim - it's the vets fault, its the customers fault, they cant find the form, they haven't received the form ...their methodology is deliberately designed to defeat your claim - as your policy is "lifelong" for the pet - WATCH OUT AND BEWARE, expensive and a non-payer (unless you threaten them) Reviewed on: 3rd August 2018

Confidence in a time of stress

I made the best decision when I decided to continue insuring my dog through Petplan after I rehomed him from the Dog's Trust. He has had some serious health problems which I don't think I could have afforded without having Petplan lifetime insurance and talking to the team and understanding what was covered gave me the confidence for my dog to have the surgery he needed. Payments have been swift and uncomplicated. My dog had a bad start in life but insuring him with Petplan will help him have a much happier rest of his life which he so deserves. Quick, easy and no fuss :)

Our cat was very poorly with Restrictive Cardio Myopathy at the beginning of the year and the vet bills were mounting up. He had a restriction on his account for a heart murmur detected when he was very young but as years had gone by with no troubles, Petplan reviewed this and were happy to take the restriction off so we were able to claim back our expenses and continue to claim for his now daily medication. Pet Plan who take the worry out of owning a Pet

Unfortunately our Dog Ruby started taking fits all dog owners know they are like a child to us we just want the best for them.. At a worrying time, after loads of test and mounting cost we found out she been having epileptic fits. We Sent Pet Plan a completed claims from with the relevant docs from vet and we recived confirmation email they had received infor Also sent an email enquiringly about who Ruby was doing, We then recived payment into our bank ALL this happened WITHIN 5 working DAYs That's What I call Service Reviewed on: 2nd August 2018

Petplan are amazing. There are no questions payment made either direct to vets or back into your bank. Not the cheapest but as they say you get what you pay for and I think they are worth every penny. Reviewed on: 2nd August 2018

I cant praise Petplan enough. their staff have all been fantastic on the phone; caring, listening, empathetic, knowledgeable, eager to answer all queries clearly. They sort claims very quickly and take away so much of the stress involved in having a sick pet. I think they are actually the most efficient and effective organisation that I have ever dealt with.
