When my hound had an almost catastrophic accident Petplan were there from the start. They were helpful, concerned and caring which actually meant almost more than the prompt payouts - though they did make the difference between amputation and a full four legged recovery. I used PetPlan when I got my dog due to my parents recommending them after they had used them for their 2 dogs. When I have had to claim back on insurance it has been a quick and painless experience and I have never had to chase. Would recommend them with ease. Reviewed on: 3rd September 2017

Without Pet Plan I would have had to make very different decisions about whether to treat 3 of my dogs or to let them go due to lack of funds. Pet Plan enabled me to give them the treatment which gave them very many happy, pain free, fun filled years. Reviewed on: 26th August 2017

I wouldn't insure my pet with anyone else but Petplan!

Would always recommend Petplan to any pet owner, although not the cheapest on the market you certainly get what you pay for. Unlike many other pet insurance companies, their assessors are veterinary qualified which means they can review your claim accurately and most veterinary practice are happy to liaise with them directly. In my experience they have settled all my claims quickly and fairly. When it comes to my pets being ill or injury I want peace of mind that I will be able to provide them with the best level of care I can, with Petplan I have this assurance.
