Petplan is one of the most well-known pet insurers in the UK.

Petplan promise to never charge you more for claiming and they’ve created policies that cover some things other insurers don’t. You can get pet insurance for dogs, cats and rabbits. There’s also a multi-pet cover option.

Everything sorted quickly

My Maltese was attacked by a dog last November and without the help of my vets, Hird & Partners, Halifax, and Petplan, I don’t know how we would have coped. Great health care plan for pets

Caring insurance

My dog Millie had a fall and broke her leg which had to have a pin in her leg. She saw our own vet at first then was referred to a specialist vet for the op. Petplan covered all her bills straight away. Excellent service. Reviewed on: 27th July 2022

I feel my cats are in safe hands with Petplan

I’ve been with Petplan over 19 year in total with my pets past and present. Claims have always been settled quickly. Recently Petplan reduced my insurance increase when I explained it was becoming difficult with the rising costs of special prescribed pet foods for one of my cats with a medical condition due the the cost of living crisis. A trusted pet insurance company

When we rehomed our dog Joy from the Dogs Trust 6 years ago We were given a free limited period of insurance cover with petplan and took it up permanently when it expired. Fortunately we have only needed to claim once for Joy since. We found the company straightforward and easy to deal with. It is reassuring to know that as Joy is getting older we have access to the insurance if needed and that she won't be excluded because of her age. If you were in any doubt about this company, an endorsement from Noel Fitzpatrick should deal the deal. Reviewed on: 27th July 2022
