Review of the Policy Expert, Home insurance:

Disappointing Service, Unexplained Denials, and Poor.

I am thoroughly disappointed with Policy Expert UK and Trinity Claims. Despite submitting valid claims on my policy, every single one has been denied without any clear explanation or reasoning, leaving me completely in the dark about their decision-making process. Their customer service is equally frustrating. They fail to call back at the agreed times, don’t respond to messages in their portal, and treat you as though you’re being dishonest just for filing a claim. The interactions feel condescending and unprofessional, especially if you happen to have a foreign-sounding name. For non-native speakers, there is no patience or consideration either, which only adds to the feeling of being dismissed and unvalued. I would strongly advise against using this company if you’re looking for support and transparency when it matters most. This has been a deeply disappointing experience with no accountability in sight. Reviewed on: 31st October 2024

Competitive Price

I have insured my home with Policy Expert for several years and have no reason to change this year. I haven't had to make a claim yet but am confident they will give me good service if I do have to. The price is right and renewal quotes are acceptable. Reviewed on: 26th August 2024

a good value provider

I have found policy expert to frequently be my best option for low cost home insurance in recent years. The coverage is adequate for my needs. Whenever I've spoken to a customer assistant they were very patient and understanding, and prompt to make requested changes. Reviewed on: 25th August 2024

Years of Satisfaction

I have insured with them for years and had to claim once, with good result. At first i phoned annually to make sure they insured exactly what I wanted, but recently have just automatically re-insured as it is a reasonable price, even after the claim. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024

Policy Expert the best for me

At the time I went with Policy Expert they were the cheapest for paying the bill over the year and I have renewed my policy a few times now and they are still the cheapest for me. Don’t know how they are for paying out on a claim because I haven’t had to make a claim from them. I have no complaints from using their policy. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024
