Saga turn up the heat.

I had an occasion when my boiler and heating system broke down. I had taken out Saga's emergency heating and boiler cover and like most people i was concerned as to whether or not it would cover me when and if the actual time came for me to claim. Well it did! Saga attended to my claim immediately and put my mind at rest' they assured me that my cover was valid and arranged for an engineer to call and fix the problem which turned out to be a failed circuit board. The job took approx . 30/40 minutes. I did have to wait for a part however as my boiler was a back boiler but it was no problem to Saga .That experience will ensure that Saga will always be my preferred insurance company to deal with. I had the misfortune to have to make a claim last winter for a burst pipe in my loft. This happened early on a Friday morning . I called as soon as the office opened, the building assessor arrived on the Monday and as I had chosen to use my local builder the money was in my account on the Friday and all repair work completed by Saturday late afternoon . During the week I received two phone calls from Saga to ensure that I was happy with the way the claim was being handled and also to see if I needed any further assistance . First class insurance cover at a reasonable price.

I have been with Saga for a few years now and find they offer great cover for my home at a reasonable price, offering me peace of mind. I had to make a small claim a couple of years ago following a storm, my claim was dealt with quickly and efficiently with the minimum of fuss or delay....first class. service. Excellent company, excellent service.

I also have car insurance and the fact that we can get both on a 3 year basis saves me trawling through other companies and getting frustrated. Saves time and eventually money as these products go up every year. WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE. Reviewed on: 11th September 2020
