Saga provides home insurance policies that can cover buildings only, contents only or both combined.

Saga offers two levels of cover, Saga Plus and Saga Select. With Saga Plus, you can expect to pay the same price for two years if there are no changes, even after most types of claim. If you cancel during the two-year period, you won't be charged a cancellation fee, T&Cs apply.

All good apart from boiler seevice

Each year, a boiler service is included in my policy. Each year I have to make numerous phone calls to have this carried out. I have never made a claim so can’t comment on the claims procedure. Reviewed on: 26th August 2026
