Decent honest banking

I have been with Santander for several years now and in all of that time I have had the fortunate experience of enjoying great customer service as well as being satisfied with my choice of products on offer to me from the bank. santander is a good banking company

I have never had any problems banking with Santander, I once got scammed and they managed to get the full amount of money that was taken back, I have been banking with Santander since the age of 16 and my mother also banks with Santander, it is a reliable bank. Reviewed on: 8th February 2020

Great value for money provided you don't overdraw

Free banking, including a pretty decent Web app and a very decent mobile app, means we can do all our banking online and still have access to a branch for special requirements. But don't go overdrawn - instead of charging interest at a percentage rate, Santander bills you £1 a day regardless of the amount (more if you're overdrawn by more than £1200), even if you have an arranged overdraft facility. From April 2020 this is changing to an eye-watering 39.9% EAR. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2020

Santander, great for customer service

We have been customers of Santander for over ten years, this is down to the excellent customer service we have always received when calling them for any issue. The IOS app is easy to use and helps me to keep on top of my finances, the updates never cause any bug issues for me and I can easily access my accounts wherever I am. Reviewed on: 28th January 2020

Few Features... and few problems.

I've had this account now for many years and have yet to experience any significant problems. Communication is good - alerts I am nearing my limit etc., apps and associated online banking experience works. Reviewed on: 13th January 2020

Easy to use app and great cash back offers

Transferred from HSBC a few years back and very happy i did as the app is so much easier to use. It shows your updated balance of what's in the account but what you actually have left to spend which i find really helpful. Then the bonus you can get cash back on a number of places like restaurants or on clothes or beauty outlets... it's fantastic! Reviewed on: 9th September 2019

Ok, nothing special

I have been with Santander for years and will be switching to another bank this year. Being a long standing customer doesn't get you any favors, there are too many options and offers for banking available it is definitely time to switch Reviewed on: 15th April 2019
