Great Cashback!

I upgraded to the 123 account 8 months ago when I got a santander mortgage, I get £60 a month cashback, and the phone app is great for transfers etc. Great account and even though the monthly fee is going up from £2 to £5 it still works out great for me. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Reliable banking service no messing about

I've been banking with Santander for over three years now and have to say I'm completely happy with the service I've received. In this time there have been no hiccups or anything I've had to bring to their attention as not quite right. Banking is simple, straightforward and they don't even charge to send paper statements which is refreshing. I may shop around for a better deal in future but for the time being I am happy to stay loyal to Santander and continue to receive good service. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Great service!

If your looking for a current bank account, the Santander 1,2,3 current account is definitely a great one. The account gives a real competitive interest rate and rewards you for saving more. It also provides cash back on household bills. Their app is fantastically easy to use and you can link it to your other Santander accounts and if you prefer more traditional banking methods you can also request a cheque book and paper copies of statements. Worthwhile account

I find that the Santander 123 current account is the best account out there at the moment to keep day to day money and any extra savings. The 3% interest on amounts of £3000 to £20000 is value and to get this rate you only need to fund the account with £500 per month and set up 2 direct debits. there is a monthly fee of £5 but with the extra cashback when setting up direct debits for household bills, this is easlily worthwhile. If you have £20K in an account this is the best interest paying account at 3%

If you have 20k in an account this pays £50 a month to non tax payers and around £40 per month to standard tax payers for a monthly fee of £2 ( going to £5 in Jan) with the added return of 3% on media bills etc . easy to use and available online as well Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Good money maker

I switched to Santander bank after having a bad experience with Lloyds a year ago. The nice lady in Santander introduced me to 123 current account and worked out for me ,taking into account my salary, savings, spending, whether this account is suitable for me. She want pushy or manipulative and left the decision to me. When I switched the bank moved all my bills and standing orders to my new accound and the money that had been sitting in my saving account making almost no profit. Over the last year I made around 200 pounds by having the money in my 123 Current account instead of keeping it in my old Saving account. Even with the fee increase from 2 to 5 pounds its still worth staying with them if you have over 10000 pounds in savings. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Good interest

Needed an account to keep some money in to pay for my daughters college fees and student flat and keep it separate from our household account. After looking around we chose this account as it pays good interest on the high amount we have in there. Easy to use just pay in £500 a month and have 2 direct debits coming out and we earn 3%. Internet banking with them is so easy to use and anytime I've gone into branch the staff have always been so helpful. Only marked it down due to the increased fee coming into effect in Jan.
