Stay Well Clear of Santander

The worst bank and customer service on the planet! I have had a lock placed on my account and the reason they gave me was that i have used contactless payment too much. Now considering i have spent the last 3 weeks in Singapore and never use the card as i dont want to pay their extortionate rates. I transfer from the bank to Wise. Now they have blocked it and tell me i have to buy something in Singapore and put my pin number in to release the block. Its the only way i can unblock it! Santander are a joke and i shall be closing the account down because of this. Complete failures! still waiting on the line for the fraud team to unblock this bar and been waiting over an hour so far. i am stuck in Singapore without access to my money. Current account

I’ve had the same current account since I was 12 and I am now in my mid twenties and I would never look to change banks. They have been so helpful and the staff in stores go above and beyond Reviewed on: 8th February 2023

Great customer service and helpful branch staff.

The online banking works pretty seamlessly but, when I have needed to contact the bank, telephone support is usually very quick and efficient. When I need to go into the local branch, I am always met with a smile and efficient service. Reviewed on: 1st February 2023

Great customer service

Visited local branch to enquire about opening an additional current account. Had originally only intended to ask for some advice but the lady on site offered to help me set it up there and then which I did.
