Stay Well Clear of Santander

The worst bank and customer service on the planet! I have had a lock placed on my account and the reason they gave me was that i have used contactless payment too much. Now considering i have spent the last 3 weeks in Singapore and never use the card as i dont want to pay their extortionate rates. I transfer from the bank to Wise. Now they have blocked it and tell me i have to buy something in Singapore and put my pin number in to release the block. Its the only way i can unblock it! Santander are a joke and i shall be closing the account down because of this. Complete failures! still waiting on the line for the fraud team to unblock this bar and been waiting over an hour so far. i am stuck in Singapore without access to my money. Used to be good

Constant changes and reduction in offers. Now not that great, but still marginally better than most high street banks (who offer you basically nothing and are generally unhelpful when you have an issue) Reviewed on: 27th March 2021

Simple flexible banking

Great mobile app and browser interface. Easy to find what you are looking for. Transactions easy to complete. Great financial analysis feature recently added to mobile app. Reviewed on: 26th March 2021

I have been with them for a few years now and they have been very good

Well packaged current account

Like most current accounts the benefits have reduced in recent years, but I believe 123 still offers a reasonable package of incentives as well as an efficiently managed banking service. The customer service has undoubtedly improved beyond measure in recent years - putting it among the top high street banking providers in my opinion Reviewed on: 14th March 2021

When I need it
