Outstanding product

I can't rave enough about how clever the 123 current account is. There is a 2 pound monthly fee, but this is more than made up for by the better savings rate on offer and cashback on household bills makes it really clever...cash back on bills is a nice feeling. Reviewed on: 10th June 2015

Great student current account!

Offers a great £1500 overdraft and a free railcard, which is awesome. Get £100 bonus for recommending someone and great credit card related offers. Reviewed on: 27th April 2020

Great monthly interest

I've had this for a few years now. Yes the £5 fee is annoying and they dropped the interest rates. But I still get around £15 a month interest for a £5 fee. No brainer! Reviewed on: 27th April 2020

Moved All My Money Elsewhere

Used to be a good bank, but then it reduced its 123 account from 3% to 1.5%, and it's going to reduce the rate again later this year to 1%. The fact that Santander must pay Ant & Dec millions to advertise for them irritates me even more. Ditch Ant & Dec - they don't make anyone want to be with a bank - the opposite in fact - very annoying! All the majority of customers are bothered about are interest rates and benefits, not pointless celebrities acting stupid in adverts!!! Reviewed on: 25th February 2020

always had good service but disappointed by recent interest rate reductions

I have been with Santander for over 20 years and have always valued this bank for it's level of service and for the interest paid on balances Also for the cashback earnings on regular bills. Recently however they have announced an interest rate cut which makes them one of the poorest paying banks in the UK. Reviewed on: 9th February 2020
