Stay Well Clear of Santander

The worst bank and customer service on the planet! I have had a lock placed on my account and the reason they gave me was that i have used contactless payment too much. Now considering i have spent the last 3 weeks in Singapore and never use the card as i dont want to pay their extortionate rates. I transfer from the bank to Wise. Now they have blocked it and tell me i have to buy something in Singapore and put my pin number in to release the block. Its the only way i can unblock it! Santander are a joke and i shall be closing the account down because of this. Complete failures! still waiting on the line for the fraud team to unblock this bar and been waiting over an hour so far. i am stuck in Singapore without access to my money. Great bank to use

Make money no brainer

Despite the £5 monthly fee, I always make more back from the utilities and retail cash back. Only had to call customer services a few times and always very helpful. Reviewed on: 11th January 2019

Decent bank

Haven't had a problem yet. Pay £1 a month and earn over £25 back from paying direct debits & using my card at certain shops. Reviewed on: 11th January 2019

Pretty happy with Santander

It was very easy to switch to them with a nice incentive added. We get regular interest payments on our utilities which has built up over the months. Great for a little extra in the bank. Reviewed on: 11th January 2019
