Santander have a range of ISAs with a choice of fixed rates and variable rates.

The Santander Easy Access ISA needs a minimum deposit of £500 to open the account. Santander offer a one year or two year fixed rate ISA. You can manage your account via telephone banking, branch or by online and mobile banking.

Banking made simple

I was in need of two savings accounts for my children but needed to retain access. The staff in my local branch were able to help me despite not having an appointment. I now have all accounts linked via online banking and it's easy to manage and transfer funds. Reviewed on: 7th September 2016

Good customer service

I have been banking with Santander for a few years now and have had a good experience in terms of customer service whenever I have any queries or need to make changes to my accounts. It is easy to get in touch in the branch or though the phone. The 123 Current Account has provided a market leading interest rate - it's a shame that they will no longer be giving 3%. Regular saver

Santander offer a fairly high interest rate on their regular saver of 5%, however you can only pay in a maximum of £200 per month, which is one of the lower payment amounts for a regular saver. So the rates are good, but the opening process was painful... rather than allowing customers to open an account online, I had the option of a telephone appointment or to go into my local branch - I chose the branch option. It took half an hour, during which the poor member of staff had to read me several pages of terms and conditions, and I left with a whole ream of paperwork to read... definitely the most laborious process for opening a savings account that I've ever gone through! Good, effective and polite customer service

Whenever I have an issue with anything to do with my bank account, or need any advice, the customer service in my local branch has always been polite, friendly and they have fixed any issues quickly and effectively. Reviewed on: 5th September 2016

123 Light

I opened the 1-2-3 account with Santander and was happy with it until the upped the fee and lowered the interests. It was costing me to have the account so I called and they switched me to the light version which is cheaper and I still get a decent cashback rate. helpful staff in the branch and easy to use online banking.

I have needed to transfer money recently and although I am not Tech-savy I found it easy to do online. If I have difficulty doing anything online, then I know that I can go into my local branch and they will always help me. Reviewed on: 5th September 2016

Good but hard to get my money when I neec it

Good bank, nice people. When I needed to transfer £50,000 they are very reluctant and send me round in circles. It takes me 3 weeks to eventually transfer my money even though I had my correct ID. Apart from that everyday banking is easy, polite and quick. Reviewed on: 30th August 2016
