Banks shouldn't be able to tell you how you can spend your money that you work really hard to get, shame because before they started blocking transactions it was a great bank, what next blocking beer and junk food because they are bad for you ? Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Great app and customer service experience

The Starling app is very easy to use, and I love that I can do everything there and don't need to use a browser based banking portal, ring anyone up or come into a branch to do certain activities. On the rare occasion I've needed to contact customer services, they've been friendly and efficient. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Worst UK bank so far

I would like to thank Starling Bank for sending me this survey link. This is so far the worst banking experience I had so far. I have been their customer for more than 4 years. A while ago, all of a sudden they have requested me to explain the purpose of me visiting Belarus (purpose of this suspicious activity) and asked for a confirmation statement from my natwest bank. It seemed as a joke to me until they notified me that they are closing my account without providing a justification. Lady from the customer service was rude and demanding. She spoke to me as I am her peasant. Now I am stuck in Belarus without any option. I cannot pay for groceries and don't know what to do next. Feeling desperate. Starling's customer service is nowhere near what it used to be. Please stay away from this bank. Avoid at all costs!!! If you need any travel money better choose cash or select a trustworthy bank provider. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

It just works and is modern!

Everything on the app just works right and without issue. Services are quick and detailed. Nothing about the app or service is clunky and the constant fine tuning and updates is awesome. The level of ai built into the app for upcoming payments is a great feature. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

I've been with Starling for a few years, I love being able so see exactly how much you're spending and any questions I have are quickly answered in a knowledgeable and professional manner, I have no intention of going to another bank as I'm very satisfied with the high level of service that Starling provides to me. Hassle Free and Immediate Banking

Having been with a brick-and-mortar bank, I switched to another app-focused bank and I thought that the benefits there were always seen alongside a number of problems.
