It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Took the worry out of the whole terrible situation. I felt supported. Debt repayments became much more affordable. For the first time, there was light at the end of the tunnel.

Helpful, kind, efficient.

I turned to Stepchange when I was diagnosed with metastatic cancer and could no longer work. My income was hugely cut and I could no longer keep up with card payments etc. They were incredible, kind, understanding and within a few weeks they had set up a DMP for me which I’ve managed to stick to for four years. I’m regularly updated with how much money I still owe and receive advice on financial matters. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stepchange to anyone in debt. Reviewed on: 4th September 2021
