StepChange - a life saver

In 2007 I was drowning in debt. I couldn't see anyway out until I contacted StepChange (then Consumer Credit Counselling Service). I cannot praise them highly enough. Although I still have debt it is stable and since 2007 my anxiety is far lower. The advisors are kind, friendly, understanding and extremely helpful. Their website is easy to navigate too. I find this the most difficult thing of all to do. and without guidance I would be lost, but the financial advisors, are so proffessional at doing this, you are helped through it. I must admit to having got it wrong due to nerves, but thank goodness ge help. Reviewed on: 25th May 2025

I was struggling with debt to the stage it was affecting my health. I then heard about Step Change, so I contacted them, and I am glad I did, and they set up debt management plan which I could afford, and it helped me a lot and stopped all the calls. Reviewed on: 25th May 2025

Having moved back to my home town due to my elderly...

Having moved back to my home town due to my elderly mother being ill and having a high paid job to minimum wage my finances took a tumble . StepChange has turned my problems around

Every stage of the process towards a debt management plan was made clear and relatively easy to carry out . I struggled with some of the IT involved. Everyone I have spoken to has been knowledgable and non judgmental and kind. I dreaded having to involve anyone else in my financial problems but StepChange took away that feeling to a large extent. I do not hesitate to to contact them whenever I feel anxious or uncertain about anything to do with creditors etc. Reviewed on: 25th May 2025

Hands on, but Unseen hands on
