Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Stepchange is literally saving lives. When there is no one you can turn to for financial help Stepchange is always there they have taken me from sleepless restless stressful times to managing my life again. The advice and help they provide is unparalleled. If you are in debt and need help and advice do not hesitate to contact Stepchange the sooner you do it the sooner you will be controlling your finances. Do not ignore your debts that the worst thing you can do but face them head on Stepchange will be there to help you so don’t be afraid to ask for help. Don't be afraid to get help.

At a very dark time in my life, Stepchange was recommended to me. They were brilliant. I had put off contacting them as I just didn't want to face reality. But they were kind, and understanding, but also practical. The process was straightforward and once my plan was in place I could do everything online. I am so grateful for getting my life back. Help when you need it most

When anyone is in debt no matter how large or small you can't see your way out of and then you start looking for a quick fix solution just to get out of the despair you feel.
