My experience has been very positive.

My experience has been very positive. I was referred to step change at a very difficult time, I was nervous before making the initial contact. And when I did, I was very happy and relieved. All the advisors have ever spoken to/worked with have always been professional, kind and patient with me. So far I have managed to clear two smaller debts. My financial difficulties were having an impact on my mental and emotional wellbeing; I felt ashamed, incredibly overwhelmed, and constantly anxious. The day I spoke to a counsellor from Step Change, I began to feel hope, the counsellor was understanding and very supportive, and I no longer felt alone.
