I got into debt after losing my job and having to use credit cards to live. I almost chose a Debt Management Plan with another company who charged for the service but then a colleague told me about StepChange. I’m so glad I went with them. Everything was explained in detail, the staff were so helpful. Each year my budget was reviewed to make sure I was left with enough money to live on. StepChange dealt with all the CC companies I had accounts with and arranged for the interest to be frozen to give me a chance to get out of debt. And the best thing is it’s a free service! I couldn’t have got out of debt without StepChange. Every time I contacted them, even throughout Covid lockdown, they were helpful. Step Change- 100% recommendation.

I was recommended by one of my creditors to contact step change when I began to struggle with paying my monthly bills. They were so helpful, professional and friendly. They took the burden and worry of contacting all my creditors off my shoulders and have supported my throughout. I'm now paying off all my creditors and managing my monthly finances all thanks to step change.
