Exemplary customer service

I’ve had a mortgage with Suffolk since 2022. I’ve just renewed my mortgage for the second time. The customer service I’ve recently received and throughout the last four years has been exemplary. They always reply very quickly with the upmost professionalism and they are always friendly. I’ve banked with my different banks over the years and I can firmly say that they are one of the best. Really helpful admin team

We have had a mortgage with Suffolk BS for nearly 3 years and they've always been really helpful in answering the phone and emails. You can actually call or email and get an answer!! This isn't true of all organisations by any means. Reviewed on: 19th March 2026

Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor mortgage

I approached SBS directly for a JBSP mortgage in the hope of buying out my ex following a separation. I had been told by many mortgage brokers and other lenders that it just wouldn't be possible however, Stephen Lye at SBS took the time to talk through my options and spent literally months helping me to navigate this. Responses were fast and I always felt like Stephen and other staff at SBS were very knowledgeable about the products, process, etc. Phone calls were always answered promptly and staff were always helpful and friendly. I was able to get a JBSP mortgage with my mum and, as a result, my son and I have been able to stay in our home. Incredibly grateful to SBS and their staff! Reviewed on: 14th March 2026
