An excellent local society

Though disappointed when the local Agency closed, it is good to have an excuse to visit Woodbridge to deal with the excellent staff who are always helpful and this includes telephone chats as well. In a competitive market the rates on at least one of the accounts is attractive. Email responses to enquiries are usually dealt with reasonably quickly and helpfully by another office. Internet Problem Quickly Sorted Out

Had an internet problem setting up an online fixed rate Bond but Suffolk Building Society got back to me and soon sorted everything out to our mutual satisfaction. Reviewed on: 6th February 2024

Helpful staff

Really easy to get advice relating to my savings. Initial contact via email and then being able to speak to a knowledgeable person was so helpful to me. I cannot get into a branch easily so speaking to someone was great. Reviewed on: 6th February 2024

PERSONAL TOUCH COUNTS

It was the personal touch that really enhanced my experience of opening a savings account. Staff went out of their way to assist me and make the experience seamless. Very different experience to opening accounts with other banks or building societies. It was dlso amazing to be able to contact the branch directly by telephone without having to select numerous options before getting to speak to someone or only being able to speak to people at a call centre who really are not sufficiently informed (not their fault) to help.
