My experience was at the Baldock Tesco. In store exchange rate is noticeably worse than advertised on line rate. Why? Simple profiteering, because they can, and every little rip off helps their profits. Woman at desk was quite snotty. Generally unpleasant experience altogether. Reviewed on: 26th May 2025

Lost the money in the post and don't keep you updated

I ordered my money to be delivered and 4 days and 4 phone calls later they still have no idea where it is and don't feel the need to keep me updated. I travel in 3 days and still have no money. Reviewed on: 12th May 2022

Amazing service at Crewe Tesco

Was unsure about how to order my currency for a trip to Costa Rica. The man in the travel money desk was super helpful and ordered my currency and phoned me when it arrived early so I could pick it up when shopping. Tesco Travel Money - Dreadful experience

Appalling service, big mistake made by customer assistant at Tesco Travel Money, Hibel Rd, Macclesfield. I complained to Tesco Travel Money who would not take any responsibility or compensate so I ended up seriously out of pocket. I will not be using Tesco Travel Money or Travelex again !
