Good interest while it lasts, and good customer service

I've been with Family BS for a few years. They are one of several banks/building societies who regularly offer competitive interest rates. Sadly, as with all banks, you have to keep an eye for interest rates later being lowered. Particularly disappointing that the windfall bond has recently become a lot less attractive. Customer service is good - It's refreshing to get through reasonably quickly by phone and for me it's a big help to get a customer services agent with a British accent as I really struggle with accents. However the customer service line would ideally be open for longer as sometimes you need help outside of office hours. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025

Young lady 'tothe rescue.'

Being bamboozled by modern IT technology I was unable to enrol for the online service. I telephoned the Helpline and was extremely lucky that my call was answered by a young lady named Ellissa Agodi. She was very knowledgeable and guided me through the whole convoluted process. She was patient and demonstrated a sound knowledge of her work. To that young lady I say a heartfelt 'Thank You.'
