A human being answered the phone

When I bought a car last year, Triodos stalled the payment because it was out of character for me. I called the bank and spoke to an actual human being who sorted it for me and got the payment through within a few minutes. I can't remember the last time I had spoken to a human being with my previous bank. Absolutely brilliant service! Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

Triodos Bank perfectly suits our beliefs

We have been with Triodos for nearly 30 years, firstly with savings accounts and more recently with their personal current account. We changed to Triodos because it reflects the values we hold dear, particularly regarding supporting renewable energy and not investing in industry that harms people and planet. Also, their ease of use and customer service are excellent. We are regularly recommending Triodos to friends who we know align with their values. Its a great bank. Reviewed on: 12th February 2026

Excellent bank.

Excellent bank, never had cause for complaint. Love that I can go online and see where investments are being made..... you will never get that information from the Big Banks. No arms, tobacco, or fossil fuels. Reviewed on: 10th February 2026

Easy to use and great ethical credentials

Online banking very easy to use. Card purchases in stores works fine although a bit clunky for online purchases. Modest and reasonable standing charge. Strong ethical credentials Reviewed on: 7th February 2026

I opened an account to save the planet.

I opened an account to save the planet. I mostly just check my balance and feel morally superior. The app works. The trees are presumably thriving. My money is doing more good than I am. Would recommend if you enjoy banking with a side of quiet virtue and very calm fonts. Reviewed on: 5th February 2026
