Ethical and modern

Above all I trust Triodos bank to operate in the most ethical ways possible. This, combined with a modern banking app that gives me a brilliant user experience makes me a very happy customer. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2026

No investment in weapons or fossil fuels

I wanted a bank that doesn't invest in weapons or fossil fuels, because I care deeply that my money is never used to finance war, genocide, climate change and/or environmental destruction. I also don't want to support big bank monopolies and so, to me, the £3 monthly fee is reasonable and worthwhile if it helps keep small banks open and prevents investments in industries that do not align with my values. Glad to be banking with Triodos

It is such a relief to know your money is being used to such a good purpose and Triodos keeps us fully informed of what those purposes are. The bank is careful to alert us to fraud. For me the most tremendous advantage is that somebody is always available when you telephone and they are always most professional, willing and helpful. Thank you Triodos!

Switching to Triodos Bank has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. They offer great customer service: their online banking is reliable and easy to use and the one time I needed to call the helpline the person who picked up the phone helped me. But most of all, Triodos has given me the peace of mind of knowing that my money's being used to fund projects that make a positive impact on the world, not fossil fuels or bankers' bonuses.
