Best bank EVER!!

Super easy to set up a current account. Easy app to use with lots of features. Money investment transparency, zero greenwashing, ethical banking at its best! Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Needs work to meet their stated ethos

I waited years for their current account, and I wouldn't leave for a less ethical bank despite various issues. But they need to take equality seriously as part of their commitment to sustainability. Social factors can't be discounted, including lack of ability to pay in cash, or to use the account without a smartphone. Also causes technical issues to be overly-reliant on one platform (as I experienced over the last couple of days, when their app went wrong, so I couldn't make any online payments or do bank transfers without it). Best bank on every scale

I banked with Barclays, Metro, Co-op, and Nationwide before finally finding a home with Triodos. Where every other bank has turned into a massive let down, from dodgy investments and hidden corruption to just terrible customer services, I was ready to give up on finding a decent bank and just hide money under my mattress until Triodos expanded their services to include current accounts. From the moment they started this service, I signed up and have never looked back. They have been extremely helpful whenever I've needed them, they talk to their customers like real people and have a genuine positive attitude - not the stereotypical fake corporate positivity - it's genuine humanity. Their updates on apps and services is constantly improving, and they keep exceptional communication with customers on all of the changes they'll make. Last but not least by any means, it's rather the icing on the cake - they're actually ethical. Rather than false platitudes and manipulative CSR, they help promote ethical business and not for profits, their newsletter is constantly filled with amazing stories that actually inspire and help connect customers to the others sharing the in this banking community . Bank with ethical reassurance

I've been a Triodos customer for several years now. Customer service has always been exceptional and you're safe in the knowledge that your monthly fee helps to fund sustainable causes for people and the planet. An easy to use mobile banking app too. The most ethical bank in the UK

A bank with clear and transparent ethical credentials where I'm happy to store my money as I can be sure that it won't be used for financing oil and gas or the arms industry. Very easy to use app. Reviewed on: 9th March 2023

A game- (and world-) changing bank

I've loved Triodos since before I started banking with them, knowing they are ethical investors. Having joined, the experience doesn't disappoint.
