The best overall is seldom the least cost financially.

In our Western culture, value tends to be associated with a monetary metric. Yet we know that what we value goes way beyond this narrow notion to the essence of what is good. Therefore to be involved with a Bank that is primarily doing social good with customers' accounts requires me to put my money where my mouth is because I am worth more than my money. Values guide us, if not determine our whole way of living. I choose a Bank congruent with my personal philosophy. Reviewed on: 14th February 2021

Good bank doing good

We all have to take responsibility for what our money does when it's in the hands of the bankers. Triodos makes that easy, and the online banking works really well too. Reviewed on: 14th February 2021

Ethical AND excellent customer service!

I have both, a fixed-term savings account and a current account with Triodos Bank and, right from the start, I been pleasantly surprised at the standard of customer service I enjoy. The Bank and its staff nsistently have exceeded my expectations, every time, on every front, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family, staking on it my reputation for spotting a good Ethical deal. I LOVE knowing that the money I bank and save with Triodos goes to do some spectacular good work, but not as charity, or aid, but as an investment in the digtnity, self-reliance and financial security of people, communities, co-operatives and the future, not just of their local enterprise, but of our Planet and the future of my grandchildren, because Triodos will not lend to environmentally destructive or unethical enterprise. That is value added you don't get everywher: a feeling of being part of something bigger, that comes as standard, in your every bank statement, at the end of the month. Excellent service and top ethics
