Great bank with ethical values

Triodos has an amazing ethos and works hard to be an ethical company and they let you a a customer know how your money is making a positive impact on the world. Reviewed on: 18th January 2023

Why such poor customer service

So many aspects of Triodos seem excellent from an ethical point of view but both my wife and I’d experience of attempting to join the bank was simply appalling. We had both just moved from the US and the paperwork hurdles were enormous but worse than that the effort to help from Triodos customer service simply was NOT there. I persevered and got an account but was left with deep reservation. After weeks of trying my wife (the greenest and most ethical person I know) was forced to give up and go elsewhere out of frustration and anxiety through the lack of personnel responsiveness and assistance. Friendly, functional, and totally ethical

I wanted peace of mind that my bank were ethical investors, which I absolutely get with Triodos, but also I get friendly human customer support. And everything works well, especially with the new securuty access to online banking. Best bank ever Reviewed on: 18th January 2023
