A caring, sustainable and trustworthy bank

I've used them for years in Holland before moving back to the UK - I love that my money is put into sustainable projects, small businesses and that I am kept up-to-date on the projects, and get discounts from those Triodos supports with loans - in the end it feels like you are part of a community working towards a higher goal. Would highly recommend them - the service, products and what they do in the world is always above and beyond the norm. Reviewed on: 18th December 2019

Great service and a warm feeling inside.

I have never received such great customer service from any organisation, the phone is always answered promptly and staff are helpful and friendly. This coupled with the fantastic organisations they support, gives me a warm feeling inside. Reviewed on: 18th December 2019

Hopefully, one day, all banks will run this way...

Triodos is one of the few banks that offer customers 2 things essential for ethical savings and investment: 1) full transparency on how their funds are invested, 2) progressive screening in of good companies actively contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals, and screening out bad companies working against the future we want (e.g fossil fuel companies). Hopefully one day all banks will offer clients these services. Triceps enables normal people to steer their money clear from supporting environmental and climate catastrophes and steer their money towards the urgent solutions we need to be investing in instead. At last... a bank that serves the community

In recent years, we have all seen how banks tend to extract value from the community (investing where the wealth already is, profiteering from increases in property values, gambling on futures rather than investing in community enterprises) and how they have contributed to financial and monetary crises around the world - whilst remaining immune to sanctions through being too big to fail. Triodos has reversed that trend and shown that a bank can successfully invest for good in small-scale, local, organic, resilient, sustainable businesses - and my money makes a small contribution to doing good in that way. The VERY BEST of BANKS in a class of its own

Firstly, Triodos inspire trust like no other bank, and your accounts run smoothly. But more than this, if you bank with Triodos you know every company that they invest in, so you can be sure that your money will not be funding arms deals or the extraction of fossil fuels. Instead, you know your money is a force for good in our world, and is used to fund projects that have a positive impact on our environment and on people, such as renewable energy and fair trade. the bank that has the best ethics by far,

The accounts I hold work well and feel secure, my money held is being used for ethical and worthwhile investments. I attended the Harmony AGM and the speakers were both inspirational and thought provoking, the bank employees gave a clear and honest account of the banks ethics and future intentions, with a convivial environment to part in discussions.
