Great ethical company

The most ethical bank and great service

I needed to change from a bank that invested in fossil fuel extraction, and joined Triodos on ethical grounds on recommendation from others. Since changing I have found the service good and accessible and transactions are simple. The security seems good too. Reviewed on: 17th March 2022

Great bank with great ethics

Really easy to apply for a new account and move all my direct debits over from my old bank. The app is really easy to use and has everything I would expect. Best & Only Ethical UK Bank

Easy ethical banking

I joined the waiting list to open a current account with Triodos as soon as they were announced. I was prepared to give up some of the convenience for a bank that matched my ethics - but I didn't have to. Online banking is easy, the app is great - and when I've needed customer service they've been fantastic. Reviewed on: 17th March 2022

A dream bank!

I couldn't love Triodos more! It's the only bank where you know your money is actively going towards making a fairer financial system and a better world, as well as treating their staff really well and having great environmental policies. Most banks do the exact opposite with your money. They also have absolutely fantastic customer service. By far and away Triodos is the best British bank! Reviewed on: 17th March 2022

Fast service by intelligent humans

When I call Triodos with an issue or question, they answer quickly, easily understand my query, always have a kind, open, friendly manner, and I feel like I'm talking to a real person who knows their onions - not someone reading from a script. It's taken so much of the stress out of banking. No long waits, labyrinthine call menus or annoying recorded messages. Triodos is run fairly, and doesn't try to profit from people's debt or other financial problems. The money is well invested in green tech and I feel well informed about it. I pay £3 a month for my account and its so worth it. Less stress, and I know my money is not being used to fund cluster bombs or despotic regimes. Reviewed on: 17th March 2022

Ethical and beatiful

What a fantastic current account service, ethical, beautifully designed intuitive app, glitch free, and funded via a small reasonable charge, NOT on the backs of those in debt and least able to pay. Ukraine shows the world is still addicted to fossil fuels. Wild fires in the artic show climate breakdown all around us. Our grandchildren will never forgive us if banks continue to pump billions into fossil fuels now. Triodos shows the new way forwards. WAKE UP, mainstream banking industry! Great customer service in a great cause

Getting the financial system aligned with nature recovery and climate change mitigation is of the utmost importance, and I'm prepared to sacrifice financial return and customer satisfaction in other areas to contribute to this. But Triodos have shown that one can have good banking and investment services while also meeting that crucial overarching need.
