A service that meets modern challenges

The personal account offers an excellent service, with friendly & knowledgeable call handlers. This was especially helpful when we switched to Triodos last year. The security measures already in place seem to be what other banks are now striving for. Coming highest in Ethical Consumer magazine ratings raises my confidence that this bank's objectives are aligned with a future for our children. Triodos gives me hope where other banks could not. A Breath of fresh Air in the world of personal finance

The media is full of stories of dodgy dealings and unprincipled activities in the world of finance. The huge banking giants are just too big for the average customer to really know what they do with the money that goes into our accounts. Even some organisations that proclaim their ethical credentials turn out to be less than squeaky clean. So when I found out about Triodos I was very excited. For some years there wasn't a current account option but as soon as this was set up I changed my banking to them. And I haven't been disappointed. I want my money to work in tune with my principles and Triodos does that for me. The projects and organisations they support are universally brilliant and the information I get in the form of newsletters and updates reassures me that I am definitely with the right bank. A Star Bank

I was nervous about changing to internet banking but everything has gone smoothly and I find using my account easy. I trust the staff at Triodos and have found them friendly and helpful . The most ethical bank and great service

I needed to change from a bank that invested in fossil fuel extraction, and joined Triodos on ethical grounds on recommendation from others. Since changing I have found the service good and accessible and transactions are simple. The security seems good too. Reviewed on: 17th March 2022

Great bank with great ethics

Really easy to apply for a new account and move all my direct debits over from my old bank. The app is really easy to use and has everything I would expect. Best & Only Ethical UK Bank

Easy ethical banking

I joined the waiting list to open a current account with Triodos as soon as they were announced. I was prepared to give up some of the convenience for a bank that matched my ethics - but I didn't have to. A dream bank!

I couldn't love Triodos more! It's the only bank where you know your money is actively going towards making a fairer financial system and a better world, as well as treating their staff really well and having great environmental policies. Most banks do the exact opposite with your money. They also have absolutely fantastic customer service. By far and away Triodos is the best British bank! Reviewed on: 17th March 2022
