Small acorns make big oak trees

I am kept well informed how my money is being put to good use in an ethical and environmentally conscious manner. A neat banking app that’s good to use. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

Ethical, mainstream banking. Amazing.

As a certified B Corporation and the only truly ethical mainstream banking option, I was thrilled when Triodos launched their personal current accounts. I bank with them both personally and for my business, and feel reassured to know my money is being used as a force for good. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

An imaginative & refreshing approach to banking

I've only been a customer of Triodos for a couple of months. I'd never heard of them until I saw Youtube footage of their associated electrical supplier: Ecotricity. Switching my account from a high street bank to Tridos was simple. They handled all the administration & correctly moved my direct debits & standing orders to the new account. Triodos reflect my core beliefs in ethical banking: I require a stable & mature approach to money. I'm impressed with their investment in small scale & sustainable businesses. I want my money to support ordinary folk with creative & imaginative ideas. Along with many citizens, I was utterly dismayed by the behaviour of the large banks during the financial crisis. The reckless & greedy investments of the high street banks & complete abrogation of their social responsibility was revolting behaviour. The wealthy, powerful bankers walked away from their mess & left ordinary citizens to tidy up. I would have been wary about transferring my account to a new on-line bank but it is my understanding that Triodos have been in existence for over 30 years. This is a new approach to banking for me but so far has been a positive experience. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

Refreshing - money is a very negative topic these days; Triodos are changing that.

Easy to use. Online banking and the app work well. A UK call centre with knowledgable staff is an absolute blessing! This alone would keep me with Triodos! I have used Triodos business banking in the past, which has the option to pay cash into high street banks in the UK. It would be nice if this was an option on the Personal Current Account. Triodos offer a great current account that also looks after people and the world we live in

Excellent customer service and all the products I need from a bank. Efficient with enquiries and easy to use website. The main positive aspect of Triodos bank for me is that I know my money is being used for projects that are working to ensure a healthy planet and healthy people and the money is not invested in environmentally destructive projects like fossil fuels or weapons. Personal banking with a conscience

Feature packed and ethical

This bank account is exactly what I need for my every day personal banking. It has all the features of accounts from other high street providers but without any of the suspect activity that goes on behind the scenes. Triodos provide an excellent service and at the same time I can rest assured that my money is being used ethically and to support ethical and sustainable businesses. How banking, and banks, ought to be.

Triodos is a banking epiphany - a force for positive global change, a pleasure to use and an excellent service provider. Switching was straightforward and swift, and when I did need help, I was assisted by the same, lovely person twice - on a Sunday! At a call centre! Unheard of. I didn't realise it would be possible to be proud to bank with a particular institution, having previously thought of banks as a necessary evil.
