A great ethical bank

Really the only truly ethical bank that meets the needs of the ordinary private user. I have banks with Triodos for several year and have been very impressed by the service. The current account works well, on-line banking is easy and ISA rates very competitive. Always easy to reach a telephone adviser when needed Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

Good Ethics, awkward processing

I love the ethical stand. But there are one or two problems with using the bank. 1. The Digipass is difficult to use. Often key in the wrong numbers because the buttons are so small and the little screen is quite faint. 2. The compulsory £3 pcm charge is unpopular with anyone I mention the bank to. Perhaps time to review this. 3. When viewing and printing statements you are treated as not using the site and are timed out so you cannot go back to check anything. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

Transparent and ethical

I switched my personal account to Triodos because of their ethics and transparency. I love that my money isn’t being used to further businesses that I consider immoral or unethical. The charges for my account are clear and upfront too. Triodos are not allowing me to get into debt by way of an unarranged overdraft, nor am I bombarded with literature for loans and credit cards. I receive texts when money is due to go out that cant be covered by my balance and I’m also alerted by text when I’m in my overdraft. This keeps me on top of my finances in a way no other account has. Even my debit card is sustainable! I’d happily recommend Triodos to anyone, and frequently do! Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

Truly ethical both in policies and in customer relations

The Triodos are the only financial institution that I get get excited about for positive reasons! They are the only bank that I trust to use my money in a way that matches my personal beliefs. Every aspect of their operation is carried out thoughtfully, with sustainability, transparency and accountability at the heart of what they do. This extends to their interactions with their customers - I always feel valued. If they say they will do something, they do! A great bank that isn't killing the planet.

My move to Triodos was painless, they handled everything and communicated well throughout the process. Now I'm happy that my money is not being used to destroy the planet and with their easy to use website and excellent texting alerts I'm happily in control of my money. The bank I am trying to get my family to switch to

Triodos is a great ethical option for everyday banking. I keep trying to get my family to join, but they can't be bothered with the paperwork. I shall keep trying. But amazing to have this option today in the uk. Customer service is great too - I always seem to get the same, soft spoken guy when I call. He's helpful, and has a voice like a fresh duvet. Mobile app works as expected. It all works great, and my money isn't being used to rape, murder or pillage, so that's a big plus for me. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019
